We search for a Sales Director with readiness to live and travel to business in Germany.

 

Purpose of the role:

The growth potential and expectation in Germany is ambitious and requires full focus, professionalism and hunger to succeed. Skare Food is looking to recruit a Sales Director to realize a targeted, profitable and sustainable further growth on the Germany market place.

The Sales Director will in collaboration with the Skare Food corporate management team and support team, work to develop a successful business in Germany.

The main task will be to drive a strategic and consistent approach to private label products in the German retail market.

You must bee able to make a positive contribution to business growth and sales by successfully serving and managing the various retail account in the best possible way.

Your location can be flexible I Germany, but you need to travel nationwide in Germany as well to the headquarter in Denmark.

You will report to the CEO of Skare Food.

 

Responsibilities:

Main responsibilities of the position can be described as follows:

  • Entrepreneurial and a strong sales background
  • Understanding of the retail sales in the Germany food market
  • Key account management of all accounts in Germany
  • Leading the annual negotiations with German trade
  • Maintain relationships with key customer contacts, to gain knowledge of customer´s business needs nationally and internationally
  • Planning and execution of sales figures and budgeting
  • Seek, create and develop new business opportunities
  • Etc

 

 

The person:

You must be a hands-on person with deep understanding of the FMCG, private label and the German food retail markets. You have been successful in managing sales and key accounts on a senior level within Germany with proven overachievement of sales targets also with private label products.

The candidate evidences an expertise within the food & beverage sector combined with strong knowledge of retail peculiarities.

This requires an energetic and charismatic Sales Director to work in this key position and to act as a leader and business developer and as the key senior representative of Skare Food on the German market.

Furthermore, it will require a confident individual with a commercial strength.

 

Education:

You must have a professional education combined with relevant industry experience and visible track record in exceeding sales expectations, managing regional and central key accounts from a strategic and operational perspective.

 

Qualification and experience:

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • 5 years on seniority level
  • Extensive experience in retail and FMCG private label business in Germany
  • Strong knowledge of retail sales function processes and cross-functional exposure to other business
  • Working experience from an international company
  • Fluent English and German language skills
